Privacy Policy
- Telepathia never collects brain data. It only knows what you choose to type, tap or draw.
- We don’t sell your data, show ads, or use advertising trackers.
- Your journal and results are private to you. Private mode keeps everything on your device.
- The Kids’ lab collects no names, no accounts, and no contact details.
- You can download or delete everything at any time, from inside the app.
1. What we collect
| Information | When | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Your entries: dreams, day-journal moments and moods, remote viewing and telepathy sessions and scores, mind–matter results, timestamped proofs, reality-check counts | When you save them | To store and show them back to you, and to calculate your patterns, connections and insights |
| A random account ID | Automatically, the first time you open the app | To keep your entries separate from everyone else’s. This ID is not linked to your name unless you sign in with Google. |
| Your Google name, email and profile ID | Only if you choose “Sign in with Google” | To sync your entries across your devices and to link purchases to you |
| Pledge wall entries: the nickname you type (optional), your chosen slogan and practice counts | Only if you tap “Add my pledge to the wall” | To show your pledge publicly on the movement wall. Never includes journal content. |
| Live game data: a temporary player ID, your chosen animal, game guesses and scores | Only while you’re in a live game | To run the game between phones. Removed when you leave the game. |
| Purchase records | Only if you buy Plus or Family | To unlock what you paid for. Card details go to Stripe and never reach us. |
| A dream you choose to interpret, with a few of your recurring dream signs and nearby moments for context | Only when you tap “Get a deep interpretation” | To write your personal interpretation. Sent to Anthropic’s AI service, which processes it only to produce the reading; the reading is saved with your dream. |
| Fingerprints of sealed entries (a 64-character code) | Only if you seal a proof (Plus) | To timestamp your entry on the Bitcoin blockchain without revealing its content |
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, biometric or health-sensor data, or any brain or neural data. The tone generator and breathing guide run entirely on your device.
2. Information that stays on your device
A copy of your entries is kept in your browser’s storage so the app works offline. Kids’ lab stars, rewards, badges and grades are stored only on the device and are never sent to our servers. In private mode (More → Privacy promise), nothing is sent to our servers at all, not even proof fingerprints.
3. How we use information
Only to provide and improve the features you use: saving and syncing your entries, finding patterns and dream–day connections, running live games, unlocking purchases, creating proofs, preventing abuse, and responding to you. We do not use your entries to train AI models, build advertising profiles, or make decisions about you. Deep interpretation is optional, and it’s turned off entirely in private mode.
4. Who we share it with
Telepathia is operated by Great Grace Church Inc under an exclusive license from its developer, Dreamroom Labs. Both may access information only as needed to run, support and improve Telepathia, under this policy.
We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We use these service providers, who process data only on our behalf:
- Google Firebase (Google LLC): hosting, sign-in, databases and server functions. Data is stored in the United States.
- Stripe: payment processing for Plus and Family. Stripe handles your card details under its own privacy policy.
- Anthropic: the AI service behind deep dream interpretations. It receives only the dream you choose to interpret and a little context, and only when you ask.
- OpenTimestamps calendar servers: receive only the fingerprint of a sealed entry, never its content. Timestamps on the Bitcoin blockchain are public and permanent.
- Google Fonts: the app loads typefaces from Google’s servers, which receive your device’s IP address as part of that request.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect someone’s safety, or as part of a merger or sale, in which case this policy continues to apply.
What’s public by your choice: pledges you add to the wall, and anything you share using the app’s share buttons, which go to the app or person you choose.
5. Children
Telepathia’s main features are designed for adults. The Kids’ lab is designed to be used by children together with a parent or guardian. It does not ask for or collect children’s names, email addresses, photos or other contact information. Stars and progress stay on the device. In live family games, players appear only as animals, there is no chat, and a temporary player ID is used solely to run the game and is removed when the game ends.
Purchases and grown-up settings are behind a parent check. Children under 13 should not create a Google sign-in, add pledges to the wall, or make purchases. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
6. Your choices and rights
- Download your data: More → Back up your data (full backup or spreadsheet).
- Delete your data: More → Privacy promise → Delete everything removes it from your device and our servers. You can remove your pledge from the wall at any time.
- Keep it on your device: turn on private mode.
- Access, correction and deletion requests: email us at the address below. Depending on where you live (for example California, other US states, the UK or the EU), you may have additional rights, which we honor for all users.
7. How long we keep it
Your entries are kept until you delete them. “Delete everything” removes your entries; to also remove your sign-in record or a guest account ID, email us. Purchase records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting. Proof timestamps on the Bitcoin blockchain are permanent, but contain only a fingerprint that reveals nothing about your entry.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit and stored with Google Firebase, protected by security rules that let each person read only their own entries. No system is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to use private mode for anything you never want to leave your device.
9. Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll update the date above and let you know in the app before the change takes effect.
